“We are preparing for the next stage - in the air, at sea, and on land” says Israeli Defense Minister Gallant

Israel's Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, recently concluded a comprehensive tour along the shores of Israel's southern border, during which he conveyed the country's readiness for the next phase of operations. 

This tour included an assessment of naval activities at the Ashdod Navy base and discussions with troops stationed in the region, in collaboration with Navy Commanders.

Minister Gallant took the opportunity to praise the dedication of the troops who have been actively countering terrorist threats and preventing infiltration attempts from the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the crucial role that the Israeli Navy is set to play in the upcoming stages of the ongoing conflict.

During his visit, Minister Gallant stated, "I have just patrolled our coast together with the men and women of the Israeli Navy. These are the people who fought against the attack launched by Hamas two weeks ago. They effectively engaged the terrorists and their vessels, and then participated in ground combat."

He continued by acknowledging the commendable efforts of the young soldiers and their capable commanders in thwarting numerous attacks against the State of Israel, saying, 

"My message to the soldiers: well done, you did an excellent job! Keep preparing for our operation, it will come soon. We are preparing thoroughly for the next step – a multilateral operation in the air, ground, and sea. Do your work, get ready. We will need you."
