Houthis imported drone parts from China to make a version of one of Iran’s Kheiber Shekan precision-guided missiles, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal citing Conflict Armament Research
Saudi Arabia conducted airstrikes on Tuesday that targeted Houthi sites in Sana'a. These strikes coincided with reports of Saudi strikes in Hodeidah and Ras Issa. The Saudi strikes also come despite warnings from the Houthis. In a statement, the Houthis issued an immediate evacuation notice to three Saudi sites: Aramco's Headquarters in Dhahran, Aramco's Riyadh Refinery, and King Khalid Airport in Riyadh.
Meanwhile, officials identified Elazar Yair Vilensky, a ninth-grade student at the ORT Ma’alot Yeshiva High School, as the teenager killed by an unexploded Hezbollah device in northern Israel. IDF says it eliminated a Hamas commander in Gaza City who took part in holding Israeli hostages captive during the war
The IDF said it struck in the Gaza City area on Tuesday and killed Momen Ahmad Salameh Ay, a commander in Hamas’ military wing who “took part in holding hostages in Hamas captivity in the Gaza City area” throughout the war.
It said he served as an aide to commanders of the Hamas Gaza Brigade and had recently “advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and attempted to restore the terrorist organization’s capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire.”

Houthis attempt to produce advanced ballistic missile using Chinese-delivered parts – report
The Houthis are attempting to produce their own advanced medium-range ballistic missiles using parts delivered from China, according to a Conflict Armament Research report that The Wall Street Journal viewed before publication.
The group reportedly imported components from a Chinese supplier to make a version of Iran’s Kheibar Shekan missile, which would have a range of up to about 1,200 miles, and Yemeni authorities seized parts including fins, motor and airframe components and ablative heat-shielding material.
Shipping documents identified a Chinese precision-metal producer that the report did not name, and China says it is respecting the UN arms ban on the Houthis.
Fabian Hinz, a senior analyst at Conflict Armament Research, said the Houthis’ weapons facilities are so well camouflaged that it is unclear how far production has progressed.
