Eilon is currently hosting Middle East Now, i24NEWS' current-affairs show focusing on the day's headlines from the region. Eilon hosts the show alternately with Laura Cellier from i24NEWS' Jaffa port studios. In 2014, Eilon hosted on i24NEWS a weekly show called The World This Week, to sum up the week's headlines from around the globe.

Eilon is one of the most well-known and experienced journalists in Israel, as he anchored the main evening editions in Israel, on the Israeli Channel 1, Channel 2, and Channel 10. He also hosted a daily news show on Walla News. Previously, he was a news anchor on Galai Zahal radio station and served as the New York correspondent for the Yedioth Acharonot daily.
