US officials reportedly met with Houthi representatives in Oman after the Iran-backed group captured a strategic stretch of Red Sea coastline, sources told Reuters.
Houthis told US officials they would uphold the 2025 ceasefire and avoid American vessels, sources said. A Yemeni source said they also ruled out attacks on Israeli and commercial ships, except Saudi vessels.
