IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says troops have destroyed Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure at Ali Taher ridge, describing it as a central command, control and combat complex built with Iranian assistance. Speaking during a visit to the 36th Division, he says troops found advanced Iranian-made weapons intended for attacks on Israeli forces and northern communities.

“Any attack on northern communities or on IDF forces protecting them will be met with an immediate and forceful response,” Zamir says. “The yellow line remains under our full control and unchanged.”

Zamir says Israel will not allow Hezbollah to rebuild its capabilities and calls on the Lebanese army to act effectively on the ground. “Otherwise, it will not be possible to advance the agreement signed between the Israeli and Lebanese governments,” he says.
