Several hurt after Gaza rocket hits residential building in Ashdod

A rocket launched by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip hit a residential building in the southern Israeli city of Ashdod on Monday, leaving several injured. 

Initial reports claimed eight Israelis sustained non-life-threatening wounds in the attack, which caused considerable damage to the structure. 

Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian terrorist groups based in the coastal enclave fired dozens of rockets at the Jewish state activating sirens throughout the southern region. 

Since the latest escalation between Israel and Gazan terrorists began a week ago, the latter has fired more than 3,250 rockets at Israel.
